Palin repeats "Bridge to Nowhere" lie
Less than 650 words into her run for the vice presidency, Governor Sarah Palin told a whopper of a lie, claiming on national television that she opposed the "Bridge to Nowhere" (i.e. Ketchikan, Alaska). Tonight, she repeated that lie in spite of the fact that there is ample evidence, both documentary and pictorial, to show that she supported the "Bridge to Nowhere," campaigned on getting that earmark, and campaign for the bridge itself, as the photo below shows.
That Palin would make her big debut tonight and repeat such a transparent lie is more than a little surprising.
But then, as I type this, Palin is busy lying about Obama's record, so maybe I shouldn't be surprised.
